The Lead Marketplace: Life Insurance Leads, Live in Oneday Pro

The Lead Marketplace is live in Oneday Pro. Buy life insurance leads in Canada, work them in a built-in Lite CRM, and convert them, all in one platform.

The Lead Marketplace is live in Oneday Pro. Buy the leads you need, the day you need them, and work them to a submitted application in one place.

Today is a launch I’ve been waiting a long time to write about. The Lead Marketplace is live in Oneday Pro, for every Oneday agent.

You can now buy the leads you need, the day you need them, directly inside the platform: real-time leads streamed as they’re generated, aged inventory delivered instantly, priced up front. Pay per order. No subscriptions, nothing to sign, nothing to cancel.

Where this started

Lead generation is where we got our start in this business. Before Oneday was a TPA with its own products, we were on the other side of the table: generating life insurance leads, working them, and learning firsthand how much of an advisor’s week disappears into the question “who am I calling tomorrow?”

That experience shaped what we always wanted Oneday to be. Not just the product provider, but the partner that makes an advisor’s day-to-day genuinely easier. Great products matter, but products don’t ring the phone. Prospects do.

As far as I know, no other insurance product provider in Canada actually helps its agents get customers. Carriers and TPAs hand you a product shelf and wish you luck on prospecting. We think that’s backwards, and the Lead Marketplace is our answer to it. I believe it’s a milestone for how this industry supports its advisors, and it’s something we’re very proud of building.

What the Lead Marketplace is

Open the Marketplace tab in Oneday Pro and you’re looking at live inventory. As I write this, there are thousands of leads in stock across our product lines, from term life and final expense to mortgage protection and diabetic-friendly coverage.

Two kinds of supply sit behind it:

  • Real-time leads, streamed to you as they’re generated. A prospect requests a callback or starts a quote, and the lead lands in your queue moments later.
  • Aged inventory, delivered instantly, for advisors who want volume to dial through.

Every lead shows the product line, the prospect’s age, and where they are in their journey (requested a callback, started a quote) before you buy. No surprises, no mystery lists.

How ordering works

There’s no contract and no monthly commitment. You order what you want, when you want it:

  1. Browse the Marketplace and filter to the product line and geography you work.
  2. Pick your quantity and place the order.
  3. Leads deliver to My Leads instantly (aged) or stream in as they’re generated (real-time).
  4. Your receipt, with the full GST/HST breakdown, lands in My Orders.

That’s the whole model. Pay per order, priced up front, stop whenever you want. If you’d rather test with a small order of 10 leads before committing to 50, do that.

Built around your workday, not just your wallet

The part of this launch I care about most isn’t the buying. It’s what happens after.

The Overview page gives you a To Work Now queue that sorts your day for you: fresh deliveries first, then the callbacks you promised, then leads due later today. Work top to bottom until the queue says you’re done. No spreadsheet, no sticky notes, no lead sitting untouched for three days because it fell off your radar.

You also get a running picture of your numbers: fresh leads this week, how many of your leads you’ve sold, and your spend over the last 30 days, all on one screen.

Buying leads is easy to sell as a feature. Working them well is what actually pays advisors, so we built for that too.

A Lite CRM, included

Behind the queue sits a Lite CRM we built directly into the leads platform. Every lead you buy gets a record: your notes, your callback promises, where the conversation left off, and what’s due next. There’s even a built-in DIME needs analysis, so you can work out recommended coverage with the client right on the call.

When a prospect is ready, hit Convert to Application and the application starts prefilled from the lead. The sale and the commission flow through your book automatically, without re-entering a thing.

We believe this technology genuinely streamlines an agent’s work day. Not only can we help provide the clients, we can help you manage your pipeline and convert those clients into applications when the time is right. All of it in one single, easy-to-use Oneday Pro platform. No exports, no syncing a third-party CRM, no monthly software bill.

The market everyone else is walking away from

There’s a bigger reason this launch matters to me. The Canadian middle market is being quietly abandoned. Distribution keeps chasing larger cases upmarket, and the families who need straightforward coverage the most are finding fewer and fewer advisors willing to work their file.

We’ve made it our job to find effective, and honestly pretty unusual, ways to keep serving that market: products built for everyday Canadians, underwriting that says yes more often, and now a supply of middle-market prospects flowing directly to our advisors. The Lead Marketplace is how we help Oneday agents do the same thing we set out to do ourselves: show up for the clients everyone else stopped calling.

One platform, start to finish

This is the piece I keep coming back to. With the Lead Marketplace live, an Oneday advisor can now run the entire arc of their business in one place:

Prospect to paid commission, without leaving Oneday Pro. That loop is what we mean when we say we want to give advisors a better workflow, not just a better product shelf. And we’re going to keep adding to it.

We built this for you.
